Dungeon Master Titles and Privileges
Adjudicators: Eudoric, Dyscord
Master DM= Moderator or Tyrant (used interchangeably)
The Moderator has final word on everything that goes into the world and what portals are available to other servers. The Moderator has final word on perma-banning players.
Full Time DM's= Adjudicators
They will have full DM powers available in the game. They will control wide territories within the game environment and be responsible for running long term campaigns. They will build these territories as they see fit, subject to the approval and (discussed) modification by the Tyrant. Adjudicators will control powerful NPC's in Eradain. Adjudicators will be able to step in and act as DM for any situation in a game they run or any un-moderated games they observe and their calls will be final.
Part Time DM's= Arbiters
They will have limited DM powers in the game. Modifications to the game world must be submitted for review before being implemented. They will control powerful NPC's in Eradain and may create and/or run short term games or modules. Ability to make changes to the core module will be limited to the territories and NPC's they control. Arbiters will be able to step in and DM for any situation in a game they run or any un-moderated game and their calls will be final up to the limits of their privileges. Anything beyond their abilities should be sent up to an Adjudicator or the Moderator. Generally an Arbiter should not activate their DM abilities when they are playing unless they need to deal with a problem situation (problem player, bug, stuck players etc.)
Other Part Time DM's= Agents
They will have the most limited DM powers, being able to possess NPC's on a case by case basis to assist with games and may help out with problem situations (problem players, bugs, stuck players, etc.) They may control moderately powerful NPC personas while working with or for Adjudicators, Arbiters, or the Moderator. Any DM calls made by Agents may be reviewed and changed by anyone with higher authority. (Hey Jim, can you run my NPC thief guildmaster tonight?)
